I work across all of our projects including reporting and monitoring of our financials. The team tease me for “missing nothing” but I’ve got to keep an eye on everything from ordering stationery to reporting to the Board and the entire spectrum in between. I’m lucky to have a varied role that keeps me really busy, we all get on well and I enjoy working in our little team.
Favourite project
I can’t pick out one piece of work in particular, I like it when a project comes to an end and you look back to see what you’ve achieved, despite the challenge that presented itself that you weren’t aware of at the beginning i.e. had we known this at the beginning, might we have taken it on – for me the answer is always yes, as you learn so much from it.
I wish I’d never done…
Driven past a rapid charge point on my way back from a business trip to Birmingham when I was getting a bit low. Due to a huge traffic jam we nearly ran out. Thanks to the dealership who allowed us to charge.
“For me it’s all about cost savings so any new technology is of interest, EV’s, solar, battery storage etc, all help to keep the bills down in the long run.”
Finally…
At the moment my head is filled with a building project we are in the process of starting, I didn’t realise how much of a headache this would be!
